NPTM2015LogoColorCenter for Spine, Joint and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation (SJNMR) is celebrating National Physical Therapy month.  We are thankful for our physical therapy team at SJNMR! They are dedicated to each patient’s physical function.

Physical Therapy Month recognizes how physical therapists and physical therapist assistants help change peoples lives by restoring and improving motion.

At Center for Spine, Joint, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation, our physical therapists provide a “hands on” approach for the patient. The physical therapists work in collaboration with your medical provider to maximize your health and improve your physical function.

Center for Spine, Joint and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation’s physical therapy department offers a pain management approach to treatment that is initially centered around relieving your pain.  As you progress, and start to feel better, exercise will be introduced to improve strength, range of motion and functional ability.

Pain relief approaches include:

  • Manual therapy including joint mobilization, myofascial release and trigger point therapy
  • Ultrasound
  • Hot and Cold Therapies
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Cervical and Lumbar Traction
  • TENS Units & Bracing Modalities
